Paul's Exhortations to the Thessalonian Church 2nd Letter Volume 6

Paul Now Declares One Way our Lord, Master, and Savior Jesus Christ will be Gorified

2 Thessalonians 1:10 When He shall come to be glorified in His saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. KJV

Glory is not a word that is found rolling off the tongues of most human beings, but in the Halls of Heaven it is a most common word, for this is what God the Father exudes as it oozes out from Him naturally and it is a part of Him that He has not nor will not ever share with another as it is written and was spoken through the Prophet Isaiah on these two (2) occasions, First; "I am the Lord; that is My name! And My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to graven images." (Isaiah 42:8) (Amplified Bible), and Second; "For My own sake, for My own sake, I do it [I refrain and do not utterly destroy you]; for why should I permit My name to be polluted {and} profaned [which it would be if the Lord completely destroyed His chosen people]? And I will not give My glory to another [by permitting the worshipers of idols to triumph over you]." (Isaiah 48:11) (Amplified Bible).

Just as the Sun that rest 93 million miles away from the earth can never ever be reached by mortal man and that man live, so cannot mortal man reach God the Father with the filthy rages (Isaiah 64:6) of his uncleanness still on him as it is written and recorded by Moses these words spoken to him by our Lord, Master, and Savior Jesus Christ (you see the God of the Bible's Old Testament is the Same Jesus Christ born in Bethlehem), "And Moses said, I beseech You, show me Your glory. And God said, I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim My name, THE LORD, before you; for I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy {and} loving-kindness on whom I will show mercy {and} loving-kindness. But, He said, You can not see My face, for no man shall see Me and live. And the Lord said, Behold, there is a place beside Me, and you shall stand upon the rock, And while My glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by. Then I will take away My hand and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen." (Exodus 33:18-23) (Amplified Bible).

Note: "Someone might say, how then did Jesus walk among humanity if His Glory would kill every unclean human being, well He veiled or concealed or covered His Glory while in human flesh. Just that simple, He is God and can do anything. Can I explain it? No. Do I fully understand it? No. Do I believe it? Ah Yes" Now we come to the Apostle Paul declaring one of the ways our Great God Jesus Christ (Titus 2:13) will be glorified at His 2nd Coming when he says, "When He shall come to be glorified in His saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day." (2 Thessalonians 1:10) (KJV). The little English phrase 'to be glorified' is translated by one Greek word endoxazo which comes from the other Greek word endoxos meaning to glorify, in glory, that is, splendid, (figuratively) noble: - glorious, gorgeous, honourable. The English word 'saints' is one we have defined many times and it is translated by the Greek word hagios derived from the Greek word hagnos meaning properly clean, that is, (figuratively) innocent, modest, perfect: - chaste, clean, pure, sacred (physically pure, morally blameless or religious, ceremonially consecrated): - (most) holy (one, thing), saint.

You see in the world of agriculture a grape vine is the source of the branches production of lush, plump, and sweet grapes, for the branch has all of the nutrients from  the rich soil that flows through the vine that produces the grapes, all that the vine is and has belongs to the branch because it is attached to the vine, in like manner spiritually, all the perfection, purity, and power that is Jesus Christ is made available to everyone of His sons and daughters, for we are a part of His Mystical Body being in Him, therefore, He is glorified in the sinners that have turned to (1 Thessalonians 1:9), trusted in (Ephesians 1:12), and taken refuge from sin and satan and now are new creatures in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17) being forevermore known as saints. Note: "A saint is not some person who has perfomed some documented miracle (for no human being can perform miracles, only God can) nor has he or she lived an exemplary or model life down here on earth free from doing much sin, nor are they people whom are held in high esteem far above other human beings, and finally they are not ever to be worshipped or prayed to, for this honor belongs solely and only to our Lord, Master, and Savior Jesus Christ for He alone is worthy to be praised, worshipped, and prayed to. A saint is simply and planly a sinner who has come to the foot of the Cross of Jesus Christ and has been born again spiritually having all our sins, past, present, and future sins washed away in and by the Blood of Jesus Christ (Revelation 7:14)."

The little English phrase 'to be admired' is translated by one Greek word thaumazo derived from the Greek word thauma meaning to wonder; by implication to admire: - admire, have in admiration, marvel, wonder. The little English phrase 'them that believe' is translated by one Greek word pisteuo meaning to have faith (in, upon, or with respect to, a person or thing), that is, credit; by implication to entrust (especially ones spiritual well being to Christ): - believer, commit to, trust, put in trust with. In other words, our Lord Jesus Christ will receive additional admiration from all of the heavenly host (the seraphim) and other good angels that never rebelled on account of how His redemptive power and love has taken rebellious sinful human beings and converted them into saints who love and worship Christ Jesus our Lord alone. This was all made possible to these Thessalonian sinners by the proclamation and preaching of the Gospel of Grace to them by the Apostle Paul, Silas, and Timothy, for this is why Paul declared these words to the Roman believers when he wrote, "But how are people to call upon Him Whom they have not believed [in Whom they have no faith, on Whom they have no reliance]? And how are they to believe in Him [adhere to, trust in, and rely upon Him] of Whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher? And how can men [be expected to] preach unless they are sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those who bring glad tidings! [How welcome is the coming of those who preach the good news of His good things!]" (Romans 10:14-15) (Amplified Bible).

"That is, the redeemed in that day will be the means of promoting His glory, or the universe will see His glory manifested in their redemption. His chief glory as seen in that day will be connected with the fact that He has redeemed His people; and He will come in order that all the appropriate honor of such a work may then be manifested. He will be 'glorified' then by the numbers that shall have been redeemed; by their patience in the trials through which they have passed; by the triumphs which religion shall have made on the earth; by their praises and songs, and by their ascent with Him to the realms of blessedness." (Albert Barnes)

If you do not know the Lord Jesus Christ and His amazing healing power, pray this from your heart to the Lord Jesus Christ (you speaking directly to Him), Dear Lord Jesus, I confess to You that I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness. I believe You shed Your Blood and died for my sins. I believe that You rose from the dead proving that You alone are God. I repent of my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I ask You Dear Lord Jesus to come into my heart and take control of my life. I want You to be my Lord, Savior, and my God. Amen...

Sincerely in Christ,
