John
12:46 I have come as a light into the world,
that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. NKJV
In the beginning the word describing the creation
that was given to Moses to write in a book that would become the Jewish Pentateuch
or the first 5 books of what we now refer to as the Old Testament tells us in Genesis 1:3 Then God said, “Let there be
light”; and there was light. NKJV Our God the One True God spoke a word and
light came into existence. The miraculous thing is what was said in the very
next verse, Genesis 1:4 And God saw the
light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.
NKJV The striking thing from verse 4 of Genesis is that God said the light
was good but He made no such reference of the darkness being good. God is the
only One that is able to separate actual light from actual darkness and see
each separately but simultaneously.
From the moment the rebellion took place in heaven
when the devil tried to take over God’s place on the throne, but he was swiftly
defeated along with 1/3 of the other angels and thrown out of heaven (Revelation 12:9), God the Father has
drawn a clear and distinct line dividing light from darkness. Darkness and evil
was made visible in the Universe through this rebellion long before the earth
and man was created, but then when man was created he was deceived by the devil
to sin against God. The moment the man rebelled he would then need another Man
(who would be perfect and sinless) to come and die in his place to pay the
penalty of death for his sin (Romans
6:23). Sin and the consequences of all sin always produces death and
darkness and nothing good (morally excellent or morally virtuous) ever comes as
the result of sin. Every person is born with this darkness inherent in their
souls. To put it plainly the light has been turned off or disconnected. The
Light is God. The Apostle John told us in the following passage of Scripture, 1 John 1:5 This is the message which we
have heard from Him (Jesus) and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is
no darkness at all. NKJV
Now if God has no darkness at all in Him then every
one of us is undone unless a miracle happens to each one of us that turns on
the light in our dark, dreary, and dead souls. Since God is Light then in order
for the dark souls of individual men, women, boys, and girls to receive light
He has to turn it on Personally for the sinner to come out of the darkness of
sin into the light of salvation (2 Corinthians
5:19). In Chapter 11 of John’s gospel, he records for us the great miracle
of Lazarus brought out of that dark cold cave alive from the dead. Our Lord
Jesus turned on the light and Lazarus’ life was restored. The Lord Jesus Christ
is the Only True light because He is the author of life and no other
spirituality, religious guru, monk, muslim cleric, or anyone or anything else
is capable of transferring a dark soul into light (1 Timothy 6:16). After every person reaches the age of
accountability for their sin, there is but two paths or roads that the souls of
men and women can travel on and each one has a final destination for all
eternity.
The soul that continues to feed, nourish, and
cherish the darkness of sin will reject or resist Jesus Christ as the Only True
Light and search for light in Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Wicca, Witchcraft,
Sorcery, Baha’i, Nature, Humanism, and other New Age Mysticism and that road
will end for all eternity in hell. However, the soul brought by God the Holy
Spirit to see its darkness will flee to the cross of Jesus Christ bringing all
of their sin and trust Him alone completely clinging to Him. They will have the
light turned on in their dark souls and He will bring them out of the darkness
of sin into a vital and vibrate union with Him in a love relationship
immediately on earth that will continue for all eternity in heaven with Him. The
soul that has truly trusted our Lord Jesus Christ receiving His regenerating
power and His regenerating power acts as the human power sources or companies
do that supply and send power to every location that are legally connected to
their company in order to receive their service. Our Lord Jesus is the source
of all light to all of those who truly belong to Him and they can never
continue, remain, or stay in the darkness of sin and all that it produces (1 John 1:6). It is impossible to have
Jesus Christ turn on the light inside your soul and you lounge, live, and love
sin of any sort. Our Lord turns on the light and dispels the darkness and gives
the enlightened soul wisdom to discern good from evil, the truth from that
which is false. The Light of the World gives light to His own that we may draw
an invisible line between light and darkness even as we continue down here as
sojourners, pilgrims, and aliens in hostile territory.

as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness,
righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have

secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for
whatever makes manifest is light. Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep,
Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.” NKJV

the dead proving that You alone are God. I repent of my sins. I want to turn
from my sins. I ask You Dear Lord Jesus to come into my heart and take control
